The Great white Shirt Design Challenge was sponsored by Supima with their donation of beautiful 100% cotton shirting to Drexel Fashion Design seniors in 2024. I was inspired to take a fully three dimensional approach to this project by draping on half scale form and then in paper to create an abstract pattern. I hand painted fabric and cut it into strips to create a striped pattern appliqué to emphasize the complex drape of the shirt.
